Brendan Gleeson was born on the 29th of March, 1955 in Dublin, Ireland, he was born to a father named Frank Gleeson and a mother named Pat Gleeson, he attended the St. Joseph CBS, which is located in Fairview, Dublin, it while at this School that he discovered his acting talent and was very active in the School’s drama classes and clubs, he later trained as an actor, after which he began to work as an Irish and English teacher at the Catholic Belcamp College in North County Dublin, but the School closed in 2014.
While also teaching, he worked as a part time actor and appeared in a few films, but he quit teaching in 1991 to focus full time on his acting career.
