Carrie Coon was born Carrie Alexandra Coon on the 24th of January, 1981 in Copley, Ohio, United States and she was born to her mother, Paula Coon and to her father, John Coon and she grew up with four siblings, who are a sister and three brothers and she was raised in Ohio.
Carrie Coon attended Copley High School, where she graduated from in 1999, she then enrolled at the University Of Mount Union, where she graduated from in 2003, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish, she later enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned a Master of Fine Art degree in Acting.
