Doreen Virtue was born on April 29, 1958 in Burbank, California, United States and she was also raised there by her parents. She was born to her parents named Josh Blenar(Father), a writer and Brenan Blenar(Mother), a Christian spiritual healer.

Doreen Virtue attended Antelope Valley College, where she earned a degree. She studied at Chapman University and graduated in 1986 and in 1988 she graduated with a second degree from Chapman University. In 1996, she graduated from California Coast University.

She holds a bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees in counseling psychology.

Career

Doreen Virtue grew up with clairvoyant abilities, which meant that she could converse and interact with spirits even as a kid. When she was an adult, she began to work as a psychotherapist and specialized in eating disorders.

After being saved from an armed carjacking, she quit her job as a psychotherapist and began to research and teach about divine intervention. She also created the program Angel Therapy and she has authored many books on it over the years.

Virtue is also active on YouTube. She has a YouTube channel with over 2 million active channel subscribers and she preaches about divine intervention and self-help on the channel and she also preaches her believes on Radio stations.

Apart from conversing with her followers on YouTube and on Radio, Virtue has also made appearances on the CNN, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The View and a host of other television programs and all these increased her popularity.
