Those who take a winter trip will have an even more exciting experience as a family of German storytellers recite tales from all over the world in German once a week to delight and excite the tearoom’s patrons.
This location was once a secret guarded by the residents of Berlin. While this secret could not be kept forever, the atmosphere just might last. The tearoom was known for its cozy and relaxing atmosphere, and manners dictate that all conversations must be kept quiet and calm. Luckily, the growing popularity has yet to disturb these traits.

Liquidrom
We’ll stay on the relaxing location trend by discussing a popular and unique spa: the Liquidrom. At first glance, it doesn’t look like a spa at all.
The building is massive, and the architecture is rather unique, with points sloping upward toward the spikes at the top of the structure. Once you’ve soaked in its strange appearance, you’ll head inside only to be greeted with a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. From here, you must choose which sauna or bath experience you’d like to enjoy. If you’re not sure which to choose then consider the site’s main attraction: the saltwater floating pool.
The pool is dimly lit and has multi-colored lights that shine through the waves. If you can hear the music upon entry it may sound strange, and this is because it’s meant to be heard underwater. If you do decide to take a shallow dive, you’ll be treated to a wide range of songs from classic to techno and more. Monster Kabinett
All of the attractions we’ve discussed so far have been relaxing in some way. The botanical gardens focus on the beauty of nature, the tearoom is quiet, cozy, and comfortable, and the spa is a collection of massages, saunas, baths, and more to allow your stress to melt away.
This final attraction, however, is less relaxing and more exciting and macabre. The Monster Kabinett hosts shows on Thursday and Friday evenings and takes you through an adventure full of performers, robots, and sculptures designed to unsettle and frighten you. While pictures and descriptions can give you an idea of what to expect, that takes some of the fun out of the fright.
