Jack Klugman is an American stage, film and television actor. He is best known for his role as Frankie Page in the 1956 film Time Table and for starring in the 1957 film 12 Angry Men.

Jack Klugman was born on April, 27, 1922 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. He was born to his parents named Max Klugman (Father), a house painter and Rose Klugman (Mother), a hat maker. He grew up with five siblings and was the youngest.
Jack Klugman attended Carnegie Institute of Technology, which is now known as Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburgh and he graduated in 1948.
Klugman’s parents are Russian Jewish immigrants. Klugman served in the United States Army during World War II.

Jack Klugman began his acting career at a Theatre in Boston. In 1954, he was cast as Jim Hanson on the soap opera, The Greatest Gift. From 1960 to 1963, he played a role in four episodes of The Twilight Zone series called ‘A Passage for Trumpet’.
In 1965, Klugman replaced Walter Matthau in the lead role of Oscar Madison in the original Broadway production of The Odd Couple. In 1996, he co-starred in The Twilight of the Golds and the comedy film Dear God.
In 2005, he appeared in the comedy film When Do We Eat? And in 2010, he made his final appearance on television screen which was in the horror film Twelve Angry Men.
Jack Klugman Cancer and Death
Throughout most of his years as an actor, Klugman battled with throat cancer which he was diagnosed of in 1974. In 1988, he lost a vocal cord to throat cancer surgery and this left him with a raspy voice.
This actor died at the age of 90 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California. He died of Prostate Cancer on December 24, 2012.
