Ross O’ Donovan is an Australian YouTube personality, voice actor, comedian and animator and he is popularly known for his RubberNinja YouTube channel and for co-hosting the internet show Steam Train which was a spin-off of YouTube Let’s Play web series Game Grumps.

Ross O’ Donovan was born Ross Kenry O’ Donovan on the 17^th of June, 1987 in Perth, Western Australia, Australia and he was born to both Irish parents, O’Donovan attended the Corpus Christi College and at a very young age he began to have a lot of interest in video games, acting and making jokes, while in High School which was located in Perth, he enrolled into an acting class and it was there that he was able to groom himself.

After enrolling into the Corpus Christi College, O’ Donovan decided to get actively involved in different school dramas and theatre plays and as time went on he began to gain a lot of popularity.

Career and Rise to Fame

Ross O’ Donovan had always had a lot passion for acting and animation and this prompted him to immediately enroll at the Film and Television Institute of Western Australia which is located in Freemantle, Western Australia and he did this immediately after graduating from the Corpus Christi College, after graduating he went on to star as a voice actor in Game Tonight which was co-written by animator Arin Hanson, he then went on to create a Newgrounds profile and began to animate on the platform under the name of RubberNinja.

After working on Newgrounds for a while, O’ Donovan began to upload his animations on YouTube and in 2016 O’ Donovan and Holly Conrad were invited by Conrad’s alma mater which is the University of California, Santa Barbara and they were invited to discuss about their YouTube careers and talk about animations, in 2013 O’ Donovan became a co-host of the Steam Train internet web series and he did this alongside Dan Avidan and the show produced three videos a day and apart from the Steam Train show, O’ Donovan has also hosted other shows such as Steam Rolled, Hunting Monsters, Grumpcade and he was once featured as a guest on Table Flip.
