    Sara Niemietz was born on the 7th of June, 1992 in Chicago, Illinois, United States, Niemietz began her career at the very young age of four when she sang Hooked on a Feeling on stage with BJ Thomas, Niemietz began her Broadway career at the age of nine, she went on to play the role of young Helen in Hollywood Arms in 2002, she starred as Polly in the 2006 film Akeelah and the Bee, in 2007 she starred in 13 and starred as a guitarist on the 2010 season of Glee.

    Niemietz always had a passion for acting, singing and performing on stage but she didn’t allow all that to affect her negatively academically, she attended the Saugus High School where she graduated from in 2010, while at the High School Niemietz was very active in the school’s department of theatre arts, she also went on to play the role of Luisa in Saugus High School’s production titled The Fantasticks and she did this in her senior year, Niemietz then went on to enroll at the Barbizon School of Acting and Modeling which is located in Chicago.

    After graduating from High School, Niemietz released her EPs titled Push play and Christmas Favorite, she went on to cover Adele’s Rolling in the Deep, she went on to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in May, 2011, in June, 2012 she performed on stage once more with Grammy Award star B.J Thomas and also got featured on Thomas’ 2013 album titled The Living Room Sessions, in 2012 she got featured on the 2012 Richard Marx’s album, in November, 2015, Niemietz became part of the Postmodern Jukebox tour and on the 26th of March, 2016, Niemietz performed as a vocalist with Postmodern Jukebox at the Dubai Jazz Festival.

    Niemietz played the role of Patrice at the 2007 Los Angeles premiere of the musical 13, she then went on to play the role of Wanda in Enter laughing, The Musical, Niemietz also appeared in films such as Akeelah and the Bee where she played the role of Polly, in 2003 she starred as Mona in Home, Sara Niemietz worked as a vocalist on the 2005 production of The Exorcism of Emily Rose and also produced vocals for the 2008 productions of The Uninvited.
