Scott Hogan began his football career by playing for Rochdale’s youth team from 2009 to 2010, in 2010, he made his senior team debut for Woodley Sports where he played in 2010 making 27 appearances and after then, he has gone on to play for clubs such as; F.C. Halifax Town from 2010 to 2011 making 15 appearances, Woodley Sports in 2010, Mossley in 2011 making 4 appearances, Stocksbridge Park Steels from 2011 to 2012 making 16 appearances, Ashton United from 2012 to 2013 making 8 appearances, Hyde in 2013 making 11 appearances, Rochdale from 2013 to 2014 making 33 appearances, Brentford from 2014 to 2017 making 33 appearances, Aston Villa from 2017 to present and he also spent 2019 on loan to Sheffield United.
Hogan was called up by the Republic of Ireland national team in 2018 and he has gone on to make over 3 appearances.
