Sydelle Noel is an American actress and former athlete and she is popularly known for her role as Cherry Bang in the television series Glow and for also playing the role of Xoliswa in the 2018 Marvel Cinematics Universe movie Black Panther.

Sydelle Noel was born on the 16th of July, 1985 in California, United States and she was also raised there, Sydelle’s childhood days weren’t all that rosy as her family faced a lot of financial difficulties while growing up and she also lost her father when she was only nine years old, she also grew up with a brother named Reuben Granger, at an early age Noel became fascinated and often fantasized about becoming a popular screen star one day and she grew up being a fan of Oprah Winfrey and Elton John and her passion for music and acting got the better of her while she was in High School as she was actively involved in plays and theatre works and nearly neglected her studies.
Sydelle attended the University of Georgia on a track scholarship and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sport management with an emphasis in business, she initially wanted to become a sport star and succeeded for a while in her sport quest but a stress fracture ended her professional sport career and this made her to switch to sport modeling but as time went on she discovered that modeling wasn’t for her and decided to try acting.

In 2004, due to her sport career coming to an end due to an injury, Sydelle decided to become a sport model but that didn’t work out as much and this prompted her to start auditioning for acting roles, in late 2004 she then moved to Los Angeles, California in a bid to gain more acting opportunities, she starred in a few roles mostly as an extra but her big moment came when she landed a major role in Netflix’s comedy series titled Glow where she starred with other big name actors such as Alison Brie.
In 2018, she was called upon to take up the role of Xoliswa in the 2018 Marvel Cinematics Universe movie Black Panther and this was due to her success on Glow, over the years Noel has appeared in movies such as First Sunday where she played the role of Hot Girl, she appeared in Good Satan and played the role of Eve, she appeared in Americons where she played the role of Monica Jones, she then starred in My Sister where she played the role of Nurse Su, and she has also appeared in television series such as Everybody hates Chris, Private Practice, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, Arrow and many more.
